Juvenil beat CFS Vilanova «C» 3-1 this Sunday 25 October (6:00 pm) at the Jaume Viñas Pi Municipal Pavilion, on matchday four of the Third Division Juvenil league.
The team produced a solid tactical display and a strong physical effort against opponents who moved the ball well, but Begues closed down the spaces and defended very well, keeping play in the opponents' half.
The first half ended 1-1. Vilanova took the lead in the 13th minute, but Jan Milan equalised in the 15th. In the second half, Juvenil came out determined to attack the opponents' goal and turned the game around through Facundo (26') and Lucas Cuesta (28').
At 3-1, the visitors switched to the five-out for the final six minutes, but Begues' discipline and physical effort shut down every attack.
The MVP was Pep Olivella, the goalkeeper. He had little to do, but his save at 3-1 midway through the second half kept the team's confidence and strengthened everyone's focus to close out the win.
With this victory, Juvenil reach six points and move up to fourth. A great performance from the whole team.
