Infantil Groc produced one of their most complete performances of the season this Sunday 25 October (1:00 pm) against CE Athletic Torre Roja «A» (7-1), on matchday four of the Third Division Infantil league at the Jaume Viñas Pi Municipal Pavilion.
The team were very disciplined at the back and conceded just once. In attack they were clinical, and the lead could have been even wider. Begues controlled the tempo and made the most of their chances.
The match was also an opportunity to practise everything they have been working on in training, including the five-out (playing with five outfield players), a variation the coaching staff want to consolidate.
Eric Bascuñana was the standout performer with a hat-trick (minutes 10, 28 and 31). Mauro scored twice, while Aritz Azaustre and Adrián Quintana completed the scoring. With those three goals, Eric now has four for the season and is the team's top scorer.
Eric Bascuñana was named MVP for his fight, his three goals and his commitment. With this win, the team put the previous matchday's defeat behind them, claim their second victory of the season, reach six points and sit seventh.
